TaxiTap Book

Travellers pay a booking fee per seat to Gomo Empire (Pty) Ltd t/a TaxiTap. It holds a seat for you on your route and travel date, and lets you board first. The fee is shown before you book.

Your fare is separate.You pay it in cash to the driver at the rank. TaxiTap doesn't collect, change or take a cut of fares.

There are no card fees or other charges. You pay the booking fee by EFT into our FNB business account using your booking reference, within 24 hours of booking.

Fares are set by the rank and may change. Pay the fare the driver asks for on the day.

Cancellations:cancel 24 hours or more before your travel day for a full refund of the booking fee. If we or the rank can't give you your seat, you get a full refund. See the booking terms.

TaxiTap Board

Free for partner ranks.No monthly fee and no device to buy: marshals use their own phones. The rank earns a commission on every seat booked and paid through TaxiTap Book, paid weekly by EFT to the association's bank account with a statement of every booking.

Drivers

Drivers pay nothing. No sign-up fee, no monthly fee and no commission. You collect your fares in cash, as usual.
