Fees
Simple and upfront. Riders never pay a TaxiTap fee — only the fare and the bank card fee.
Riders
You pay the fare set by the driver plus the bank card processing fee charged by our payment processor, Paystack. TaxiTap adds nothing on top. The total is shown to the driver before they collect, and on your receipt.
Saving a card: we make a small check charge (about R2) to confirm your card, and refund it straight away.
Drivers
TaxiTap keeps a platform fee of 3% of each fare. The rest of the fare is paid by Paystack directly into your bank account. There are no sign-up or monthly fees.

Card fees are based on Paystack's local card rate (2.9% + R1, plus VAT) and may change if their rates change. We will update this page before any change takes effect.
